Eng. Carlos Eduardo Troetsch finished his baccalaureate at San Vicente de Paul College in the city of David, Province of Chiriquí, Republic of Panama. He received his title as Industrial Engineer at Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, United States. He later obtained his Masters in Business Administration with emphasis in Banking and Finance at the renowned INCAE business school (Central American Institute of Business Administration) with its main branch based in Alajuela, Costa Rica.

Eng. Troetsch is a partner at Morgan & Morgan Group, an organization with a trajectory more than 85 years and a vast and efficient network of operations in more than 12 cities in America, Asia and Europe, offering its clients the whole range of legal, fiduciary and financial services, with the best and healthiest practices in the international industry. He is currently Director and Executive Vice President of the Financial Unit of the said Group. Throughout his career in this organization, he has been a member of board of directors and at the administration of different companies and projects, among which we can highlight founding member of MMG Bank & Trust Ltd, Bahamas and MMG Bank Corporation.

He is also director and participates in the administration of investment funds in the real estate sector and fixed rent.

Before joining the Morgan & Morgan Group, Eng. Troetsch was a member of the management team of Primer Banco del Istmo, one of the most successful banking operations in Panama, acquired in 2006 by the HSBC group.

He is currently President of the Latin American Federation of Banks (FELABAN).

In addition, he is director of the Banking Association of Panama. He was reelected President for the year 2017-2018 at the Banking Association of Panama. Just as well, he was president for two consecutive years in 2013 and 2014. Also, he is currently member of the National Council of Private Enterprise of Panama (CONEP). Eng. Troetsch has been a member of civic organizations such as Club Activo 20-30 y and the Rotary Club, as well as three other foundations of social and communitarian interest, such as the Foundation for Social Development of the Western Region of the Country.

He is a founder partner of the Norbot Group, a Company owner of the real estate mountain project Hacienda Los Molinos, in the province of Chiriquí. At the same time, Partner-President of the Board of Directors of the Tuscan Hotels, a company owner of the renowned Hacienda Los Molinos Boutique & Spa in Boquete. He is also a partner of livestock and agricultural projects.

Passionate about topics of personal spiritual development, and enthusiastic about outdoor sports and music, he has a prominent participation as pianist in music groups in Panama City.
